I was traveling down a long gravel road in northern Craig County, Va when I saw a large white owl drop off a branch and fly/glide down the road in front of me. The wingspan had to have been six feet. Could this have been a snowy owl? It was springtime and the weather was clear and sunny. It was a beautiful experience.
