I just had a group of four hawks seem to be following or swarming me as I mowed my pasture for at least an hour. I've been doing this cutting of 5 -6 acres for 38 years and have never witnessed this behavior by a hawk. They would pass and then swoop down within 15 or so feet as I cut. Does anyone know or recognize this action by multiple hawks?
